Big Hi to All,
What a miracle on getting this issue out on time what with the power situation. But we have (pat on the back). Welcome to the Christmas issue of the Eye and what an issue it is.
I was hoping for an article from Escom, explaining to us laymen their current situation and plans for the future, unfortunately they were too busy. Funny that. Perhaps next issue I will be able to shed (not load) some light on the matter.
But not to fear, as I have some wonderful articles to entertain you. This issue my learned friend Harrison Simfukwe has indulged us with a lead on the Porcupine. .. Did you know they are excellent swimmers!
Well Done to Nyomi Rowsell who brings us `cleaning up Malawi` and how recycling can shape the environment. Dental Chic, Dr Shabana shares her wisdom, not teeth, in a nail biting piece on gum disease & my good Doctor, Susan Waldron shares some interesting facts on Tuberculosis, stay tuned for more from her.
Rachel McRobb of Conservation South Luangwa brings us a piece for our Zambia section on their excellent efforts & Rotary Club of Lilongwe brings us an advertorial/supplement of sorts regarding just who are Rotarians and their efforts. Big thanks to Eveline Van Dam for her efforts in putting this together from her side.
A massive thanks to all of the above and to all our advertisers, it’s a pleasure to deal with y`all and without whom The Eye would not be possible.
Stay safe this Christmas…ho, ho, ho, and herewith my he, he, he
One day a little boy wrote to Santa Claus, `please send me a sister` Santa wrote back `OK, send me your mother`!
Merry Christmas to Everybody!
