Visa Requirements

All visitors entering Botswana must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months, except those with United Nations Convention travel
documents. Visitors must also have outgoing travel documents and sufficient funds to finance their stay.

VISAS: Valid entry visas for the countries which do require them may be obtained from Botswana’s various embassies and high commissions
abroad. Entry visas obtained at border posts are valid for a maximum of 30-90 days. Extensions may be obtained from any immigration office in
Botswana. No visitor is allowed more than a 90-day stay in every calendar year, unless permission has been granted in the form of a waiver
pending the outcome of a residence permit application.
If a person visiting Botswana wants to stay more than three months, he must apply before entering Botswana to the Chief Immigration Officer,

Airport Departure Tax incorporated in ticket price. International departure tax has to be paid only in US$.

Citizens and permanent residents of all states except Swaziland, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe require a visa. Applicants must
submit the original passport that should be valid at least 6 months from date of submission and have at least 1 blank page for visa stamp
(amendment pages are not acceptable). Applicants must fill out the application form and submit 2 passport-sized photographs. Applicants must
include a self-addressed and stamped envelope preferably registered or pre-paid air bill if processed visas are to be returned by mail or courier. .
Entry visa valid 3 months from date of issuance
Most nationalities can obtain a visa at airport on arrival for US$25. Taiwan nationals need a visa in advance.

All visitors require a passport which must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay in the country and have sufficient pages for
entry and exit stamps. All visitors must also have a valid return ticket.
Visitors from the following countries do not require visas for stays of up to 90 days: Angola, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Botswana, Brazil, Cuba,
Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Japan, Kenya, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, UK, USA, Mozambique, New
Zealand, Portugal, Iceland, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Singapore, the Scandinavian countries, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. For visitors
from other countries, please check with your nearest Namibian Consulate about obtaining a visa. Entry into Namibia will be permitted for a
maximum period of 90 days, (extension possible on application to The Ministry of Home Affairs during stay in Namibia.)

Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa;

All foreigners from no-Commonwealth countries are required to have a valid visa unless their countries have visa abolition agreement with
Tanzania. Exceptions: Citizens of Commonwealth countries are not required to obtain visa, unless they are citizens of the United Kingdom,
Canada, Nigeria, India, Pakistan or The Republic of South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. However, the list may change from time to time.

24 hours. All foreign passport holders with the exception of most citizens of commonwealth member countries have to obtain a visa for Zambia.
Passport holders from the following countries do require visas on a reciprocal basis: Bangladesh; Gambia; Ghana; India; Nigeria; Sri Lanka;
Sierra Leone; Pakistan; Papa New Guinea, however, visa waivers are available, and we will be able to assist with these arrangements.
Passport holders from the following countries do require a visa and may obtain them at the port of entry or missions abroad: Angola; Britain;
Burundi; Comoros; Congo Democratic Republic; Djibouti; Egypt; Eritrea; Ethiopia; Madagascar; Mozambique; New Zealand; Rwanda; Somalia;
Sudan. Any private and / or business visitors wishing to visit neighboring countries shall be issued with re-entry visas valid for 7 days on request
at internal immigration offices or at border posts before departure from Zambia.
Other nationalities can get a visa at the border for a sum of money. Except the following nationalities who will need to get a visa beforehand;

All other Nationals are required to apply for and obtain visas prior to travelling. South African and Ghanaian citizens visiting Zimbabwe obtain
visas at the port of entry for free.
